Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced B2B Marketing Manager to join our European Marketing and Communications team on a 1 year maternity cover contract. Our ideal candidate will have experience developing and delivering strategic marketing initiatives and campaigns that build and maintain a strong corporate brand across multiple markets and engage a range of audiences, including customers, industry stakeholders, partners and communities.

The successful candidate will report to the Marketing and Communications Director, Europe, working closely with key internal stakeholders and our network of partner agencies. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for end-to-end campaign delivery, content, digital marketing and project management. It is also a valuable opportunity to improve the marketing team's processes and introduce appropriate AI-enabled tools.

Key responsibilities

Whilst based at our London HQ, this is a pan-European role supporting activity across the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands and Italy.

Campaign delivery and project management: Develop and deliver strategic marketing campaigns and projects from brief and planning through production, launch and review. Translate business objectives into clear workback plans, define the relevant audiences and messaging, manage timelines, budgets, dependencies, approvals and contributors, and use results and lessons learned to improve future activity.

Brand and content production: Maintain a consistent and coherent corporate brand across all touchpoints. Translate complex technical documents and input from subject-matter experts into clear marketing content, and work with internal teams to produce reports, case studies, presentations, video, web and social content. Project manage photography, creative briefs, agencies and the visual asset library.

Digital marketing and website: Plan and deliver the digital elements of campaigns across email, social media and SEO. Own and coordinate updates to the European website through the content management system, ensuring pages are accurate, current, on-brand and aligned with campaign and business priorities. Use analytics to improve content and the website experience.

Marketing operations tools and AI: Use project management tools to provide a clear view of priorities, responsibilities, progress and capacity. Improve briefs, workflows, approvals, asset management and reporting, and implement appropriate AI tools that reduce manual work, supported by clear quality checks and responsible-use practices.

Stakeholder agency and performance management: Work across functions and markets to align stakeholders and agency partners, maintain clear decisions and approvals, and keep delivery moving. Monitor and analyse marketing activity, provide clear reporting and recommendations, and adapt execution for different European markets and audiences.

Event marketing support: Partner with the events lead to connect priority events with wider marketing activity, including audience planning, messaging, content, promotion, audience engagement and post-event follow up.

skills

Project management: Ability to use project management tools, manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to turn complex technical information into clear, accurate and engaging marketing content.

Leadership and collaboration: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and coordinate agencies and senior stakeholders to deliver marketing activity aligned with business goals.

Creativity: Ability to develop effective ideas for marketing campaigns, content and brand initiatives while applying sound judgement and maintaining quality.

Digital marketing: Experience across email, social media, websites, content management systems, SEO and analytics platforms.

Brand and content management: Experience in brand development and positioning, maintaining consistency across touchpoints, and managing content production, photography, budgets and approvals.

AI and process improvement: Practical knowledge of AI tools and an interest in applying them to marketing workflows with appropriate quality controls and responsible-use practices.

Job Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, business or a related subject, or equivalent professional experience.

7 to 10 years of relevant B2B or corporate marketing experience, with a proven track record of delivering strategic marketing initiatives, campaigns and brand activity to a high standard across multiple markets.

Experience in data centres, real estate, utilities, renewable energy, or digital infrastructure is preferred.

Occasional travel across Europe will be required, approximately 10% of working time.
