Backend Developer (Java/Spring Boot)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Backend Developer (Java/Spring Boot) based in Mexico.

• Join a fully remote product development team working on modern digital products for ambitious organizations.
• You’ll build reliable backend systems, APIs, services, integrations, and database solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Your work will contribute directly to production features, with ownership extending from implementation through testing and release.
• You’ll collaborate closely with frontend, QA, DevOps, product, design, and client-side stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.
• The role offers meaningful autonomy while encouraging developers to challenge assumptions, communicate risks, and understand the wider product context.
• You’ll work on a project currently expected to run through February 2027, with the opportunity to apply modern engineering practices in a distributed team.
