Job Title : MSK Physiotherapist- Barts NHS Trust Banding : 6 and 7 Location : London Start: ASAP Duration : 3months Rate : £ 27.16- £ 33.34 Working hours: Monday – Friday, (37.5hrs per week)
We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Band 6 and 7 MSK Physiotherapists to join our team at Barts NHS Trust. This role involves providing specialized musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy services to a diverse patient population. If you are competent in the assessment and management of MSK conditions, including complex presentations, and have a strong awareness of red flag screening, we encourage you to apply.
What will your responsibilities be :
As a Band 6 or 7 MSK Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive MSK physiotherapy services. Your duties will include conducting detailed assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. You will manage your caseload independently in a busy department, providing a mixture of telephone consultations, one-on-one face-to-face sessions, rehabilitation, and specialty classes. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care, provide education and support to patients and their families, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our MSK physiotherapy services.
Qualifications and Experiences:
Degree in Physiotherapy
HCPC registration
Significant experience in MSK physiotherapy
Competence in the assessment and management of MSK conditions, including complex presentations
Awareness of red flag screening
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in using MSK physiotherapy assessment tools and techniques
