What We’re Looking For:

As a Pool Barback, you’ll be the backbone of a vibrant poolside bar, ensuring bartenders are fully stocked and ready to serve guests. From replenishing beverages and ingredients to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, you’ll help create a seamless and enjoyable experience. Ability to work effectively with bartenders, servers, and bar managers to ensure smooth operations.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently during busy shifts.

Strong reliability and punctuality to ensure that bartenders have the support they need.

Strong focus on providing outstanding service to guests and enhancing their experience.

What You Will Do:

Replenish and restock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, ice, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies throughout the shift.

Assist bartenders with setting up and breaking down the bar before and after shifts or events.

Prepare garnishes such as lemon, lime, and orange wedges, as well as other drink essentials like cherries and olives.

Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by washing and drying glassware, wiping down bar surfaces, and removing trash regularly.

Keep the bar organized, ensuring that all tools, equipment, and supplies are easily accessible to bartenders.

Clear dirty glasses and empty drinkware from guest tables and bar counters.

Monitor bar stock levels and alert bartenders or management when supplies are running low.

Provide polite and friendly service to customers, such as assisting with basic requests or answering questions.

Ensure that customers’ needs are met by keeping bartenders supported and the bar running efficiently.

Work closely with bartenders, servers, and bar managers to ensure the smooth flow of service during busy periods.

Support bartenders by helping prepare and run drink orders during peak hours, ensuring a timely delivery of beverages.

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for beverage handling and bar cleanliness.

Ensure compliance with alcohol laws and regulations, such as checking that all drink orders are handled responsibly.

Regular attendance in conformance with standards.

May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include:

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred.

Ability to lift/pull/push 75 plus pounds.

This position requires continual bending, lifting, carrying and stooping.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

Capability to perform duties in an outdoor environment, adapting to various weather conditions.

Must be flexible to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
