About the role:

Collective is looking for a BDR Manager to build and scale a high-performing prospecting engine that fuels our rapid, 1-3 day sales cycle. You'll inherit a large volume of inbound leads and be responsible for turning that pipeline into pipeline velocity: hiring, coaching, and scaling a team of BDRs who can move fast, qualify accurately, and hand off warm, sales-ready conversations to our Account Executives. This is a high-visibility role for someone who has personally crushed quota as an individual contributor and manager, and now wants to build the machine that does it at scale.

What you'll do:

Recruit, hire, and onboard a team of BDRs, standing up a scalable playbook for fast ramp times

Own inbound lead response time, qualification rate, and speed-to-lead as core team KPIs given our short sales cycle

Build and refine outbound/inbound prospecting workflows, scripts, and sequences that convert a high volume of inbound leads into qualified opportunities

Set and manage weekly/monthly/quarterly pipeline targets, forecasting conversion rates from lead to qualified opportunity to closed deal

Coach reps daily through call shadowing, call reviews, and 1:1s to continuously improve talk tracks, objection handling, and qualification skills

Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to optimize lead routing, scoring, and handoff processes

Use CRM and sales engagement data (Salesforce, Nooks, Metabase, etc.) to identify bottlenecks and double down on what's working (and quickly fix what isn’t)

Build a strong, competitive, metrics-driven team culture that thrives under a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Iterate quickly: given the 1-3 day sales cycle, you'll need to test, measure, and adjust tactics in near real-time rather than waiting on long feedback loop

What you'll bring:

You've crushed it as an individual contributor BDR/SDR (top of the leaderboard, not just hitting quota but blowing past it)

2+ years leading a BDR/SDR team, ideally somewhere fast-paced with short sales cycles. You know what it's like when deals move in days/minutes, not months

You've scaled a team from scratch (or close to it) and know how to get new hires ramped and productive fast (no 60-day slow burns)

You live and breathe inbound; you know how to triage a flood of leads, prioritize the hot ones, and qualify fast without losing quality

You're the type who lives in the CRM and dashboards, not because you have to, but because you actually like knowing what's working and doubling down on it

You can hop on a call, listen for 30 seconds, and know exactly what a rep needs to tweak to close more

You'd rather build the playbook than wait for someone to hand you one

You bring energy to the floor: competitive, a little scrappy, and genuinely fired up by a team that's grinding toward big numbers

What we offer:

Remote-Friendly Environment: Flexibility to work from home while staying connected to the team. Please note that we're open to remote candidates within the U.S. for this role, but Bay Area-based employees follow a hybrid schedule.

Health & Wellness: $200 quarterly reimbursement to support your well-being.

Fresh Lunch: Provided on in-office days for those in a hybrid schedule.

Commuter Support: $150 monthly reimbursement for transit expenses for those in a hybrid schedule.

Health & Wellness: $200 quarterly reimbursement to support your well-being.

Time Off: Flexible PTO plus 14 company holidays.

Comprehensive Coverage: 100% medical, dental, and vision for employees; 75% coverage for dependents.

Parental Leave: 16 weeks fully paid.

Retirement & Ownership : 401k plan plus an equity package.

Team Connection: Quarterly virtual events and an annual in-person summit.
