Bicycle & Scooter Repair Technician – College Park, MD

- Candidates must live near the College Park area and be able to reliably commute to the warehouse location. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull electric bikes and scooters weighing up to 80 lbs.

Job Summary
Are you the person your friends call when something needs to be fixed or repaired? Do you enjoy being hands-on and solving mechanical issues? Are you interested in working in the growing EV shared micromobility industry? If so, you might be the perfect fit for Veo’s Bicycle & Scooter Repair Technician role!
Veo is seeking Repair Technicians to maintain and repair our electric vehicle fleet. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy solving problems, are comfortable working with their hands, and are passionate about helping make our communities safe and sustainable.
No electric vehicle experience is required, but professional or hobby experience repairing bikes, scooters, cars, motorcycles, or similar equipment is a great fit.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive repairs on Veo’s electric bikes and scooters, from tightening a bolt to replacing a motor
Conduct quality checks and routine inspections to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards
Follow established processes to log and track maintenance records
Track inventory levels for spare parts on an ongoing basis
Maintain excellent warehouse organization and set a strong example for teammates
Perform field tasks as needed, including swapping batteries and redistributing vehicles
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
At least 1+ years of experience in maintenance or auto repair
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull electric bikes and scooters weighing up to 80 lbs
Strong problem-solving mindset and self-motivation
Comfortable navigating and using smartphone apps
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be a team player
Comfortable performing hands-on mechanical work throughout the shift
Nice to Haves
Previous maintenance experience with bikes, scooters, motorcycles, or automobiles
Basic knowledge of electronics
Experience working with hand and power tools
Knowledge of the College Park area and surrounding streets
Flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts

Below is the expected salary range for this position. The listed range is a good faith estimate, and exact compensation and total package may vary depending on market conditions and candidate qualifications.
Pay Range
