We're looking for an experienced BMS Lead Engineer to join our growing team. This field-based role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse customer portfolio while supporting critical building control systems and developing your career with a global leader in smart building technology.

The Role

As a BMS Lead Engineer, you'll be the trusted technical expert for our customers, delivering service, commissioning excellence, and ensuring systems operate at peak performance. Working independently and as part of a wider team, you'll support service delivery, system optimisation and future upgrade opportunities.

This is a mobile role, predominantly around Glasgow.

What You'll Be Doing

• •Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systems
• •Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues efficiently
• •Configuring and commissioning controllers and network-level devices
• •Modifying software and maintaining accurate system documentation
• •Producing service reports and recommendations
• •Building strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
• •Supporting upgrade and lifecycle projects
• •Project design and commissioning
• •Work alongside project managers to achieve project delivery
• •Promoting OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologies
• •Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance

What We're Looking For

• •Experience within BMS, Building Controls or Automation
• •Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• •Experience in a customer-facing service environment
• •Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• •Full UK Driving Licence
• •Ability to work independently and participate in an out-of-hours callout rota
• •HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
• •Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys systems (advantageous)
