Lake Imaging, founded in 2002 , has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria , with more than 19 clinics providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics, and specialty centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, and Warrnambool.

💼 ABOUT THE ROLE

• Located in our Booking Centre in Geelong , you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients. If you enjoy working in a lively inbound call centre environment , this is the perfect role for you !
• You’ll use your superstar customer service skills to manage appointment enquiries and bookings. Ideally, you’ll have experience in the medical or radiology field , but if you’re passionate about the health industry , we want to hear from you!

📌 ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a Booking Agent, you will:
• Take inbound calls and determine the required service
• Handle bookings and enquiries efficiently
• Notify patients of pre-visit requirements
• Liaise with technical and support staff
• Quote fees and Medicare rebate amounts
• Book appointments at the relevant site
• Assist with other tasks as needed

🧑‍💼 ABOUT YOU

Our Booking Agents come from all walks of life and bring a range of experience. To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Excellent communication & phone skills – articulate, empathetic, and a good listener
• Previous customer service or high-volume call centre experience
• Confident using computers and quick to learn new systems
• A proactive attitude to training and development
• Health/medical reception experience (highly regarded)
• RIS/PACS systems experience (also highly regarded)
