Job Description: Handyman – Painting & Welding Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman with strong experience in painting, welding, repairs, and general maintenance work. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance and improvement tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities

• •Perform interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation, priming, coating, and touch-ups.
• •Carry out welding and metal fabrication works, including repairs, modifications, and installation of metal structures.
• •Perform general handyman and maintenance tasks such as repairs, installation, assembly, and minor construction work.
• •Repair and maintain doors, gates, railings, fixtures, furniture, and other facilities.
• •Conduct basic carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electrical repair work when required.
• •Inspect facilities, equipment, and structures and identify maintenance or repair requirements.
• •Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance equipment safely and properly.
• •Ensure completed work meets quality, safety, and company standards.
• •Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and good working condition.
• •Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• •Perform other related duties and maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• •Previous experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, Painter, Welder, or similar role. At least 5 years of experience.
• •Proven skills in painting and welding.
• •Knowledge of general building maintenance and repair techniques.
• •Ability to operate common hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• •Physically fit and able to perform manual work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working at heights when required.
• •Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• •Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• •Strong awareness of workplace safety and proper use of PPE.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Vocational training in welding, painting, construction, or maintenance. NC2 holder.
• •Experience working with commercial, residential and industrial environment.

Working Conditions

• •Work may be performed indoors and outdoors.
• •May require working in different areas of the facility and at heights.
• •May involve exposure to dust, paint, chemicals, heat, noise, and other normal maintenance-related conditions.
• •Must be willing to perform various handyman and maintenance tasks as required.
