• •Pay rate of circa £30500 per annum

Looking for a hands-on role where you can lead a team and take pride in keeping our fleet safe, clean, and road-ready?

We’re looking for a proactive and dependable Bus Depot Service Assistant Supervisor (Cleaning, Shunting & Refuelling) to join our team at Chichester depot. In this role, you’ll work alongside a dedicated crew, helping to refuel, clean, and position our buses, while taking on a leadership role to make sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• •Leading a small team of Fuellers/Shunters/Cleaners
• •Supporting the team by stepping in to clean, refuel, and reposition vehicles when needed
• •Organising daily task allocation and ensuring job sheets and reports are completed accurately
• •Planning weekly shift cover, monitoring performance, and supporting improvements
• •Ensuring all work meets health and safety requirements and depot standards
• •Liaising with management to ensure a smooth and efficient depot operation

What we’re looking for:

• •A strong team player who’s also confident taking the lead
• •A hands-on attitude and willingness to support the team on the ground
• •A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• •A valid UK driving licence (PSV licence preferable and we’ll provide training to move vehicles within the depot)
• •Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• •Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including weekends
