What is the opportunity?

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for leading activities on projects within RBC Wealth Management. The role demonstrates advanced knowledge and ability and can apply competency in new or complex situations and guides other professionals. This role is responsible for execution of all aspects of requirements delivery- planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation, management, and support.

What will you do?

• •Lead & facilitate collaborative sessions with business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
• •Prepare requirements for review, applying various communication techniques and leading requirements walkthrough
• •Analyze and document detailed business and system solution requirements using enterprise standard requirements methodology
• •Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders
• •Provide ongoing requirements/build/testing support to the developers and QA team
• •Apply advanced coverage analysis techniques to ensure relationship between scope, detailed requirements, and testing through implementation
• •Support UAT and PIV activities including planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis for requirements-related issues
• •Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• •5 years’ experience as a BA/BSA experience
• •Proven experience in Agile methodology
• •Proven ability to gather business and systems requirements independently, having strong business analysis and systems analysis skills.
• •Proven experience in requirements analysis and quality documentation: Scope Modelling, Business Process Modelling, Data Requirements, Business Rules Analysis, Non Functional Requirements, User Stories, Story Decomposition, and Story Mapping, Acceptance and Evaluation Criteria Definition
• •Excellent communication skills required; will be working with business stakeholders and IT stakeholders
• •Excellent collaboration skills, attention to detail, gap analysis, and ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
• •Deep Knowledge of requirements documentation and modeling tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA/Confluence, Mural, Figma)

The expected salary range for this particular position is $70,000-$130,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC’s discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
