• Key job responsibilities
• You will test your analytical and technical skills. This internship is a learning opportunity, where you will put your skills and bias for action to the test, to complete a project that will support your own growth in the Business Analysis function, as well as the team and our customers' success.

• - Partner with multiple teams across different geographies, building collaborative relationships while learning from experienced professionals in a global business environment.
• - Take ownership of data analysis projects with guidance from mentors, turning data insights into actionable business recommendations.
• - Identify and propose process improvement opportunities, working with the team to develop streamlined solutions that enhance business efficiency.
• - Lead root cause analyses for assigned projects, collaborating with team members to solve real business challenges and implement solutions.
• - Support the development of business cases for new programs, gaining hands-on experience in strategic planning and project development.
• - Own the maintenance and improvement of specific performance metrics dashboards, while learning advanced visualization techniques from experienced analysts.
• - Develop into a valued team member by bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, while building foundation skills in business analysis.

• A day in the life
• Location: Madrid or Barcelona
• Start Date: Flexible between January - March 2027. We don't offer 2026 start dates.
• Duration: 6 months
• This is not a remote internship opportunity

Every day is different as a Business Analyst Intern. You'll work alongside experienced analysts and a dedicated mentor on real data analysis projects that directly impact business efficiency. You might spend your morning diving into datasets to perform a root cause analysis on an operational challenge, then spend your afternoon building and refining a performance metrics dashboard to track key business outcomes. You will partner with teams across different geographies, present data-driven recommendations, and contribute fresh perspectives to solve real business problems.

Amazon is a data-driven business, so no matter which project you own, part of your role will involve turning raw data into actionable insights. You'll identify process improvement opportunities, support the development of business cases for new programs, and present your findings to senior stakeholders — building your analytical, technical, and strategic thinking skills in a fast-paced, global environment.

Basic qualifications

• - Can sign a learning agreement with the University in which you are enrolled
• - Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
• - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
• - Knowledge of SQL
• - Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 3 to 6 month internship maximum
• - Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university bachelor’s or master’s in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a similar discipline

Preferred qualifications

• - Experience using databases with a large-scale data set
• - Experience in prior internships
• - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• - Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others.
• - Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
