We are looking for a proactive Business Analyst to join our PyMe Acquisition Team .
PyMe Acquisition Team is responsible for building and scaling client acquisition channels. We work at the intersection of Product, Operations, and Growth, transforming early-stage ideas into scalable, data-driven solutions. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll take end-to-end responsibility for a product area, working closely with Engineering, Operations, and Analytics to improve how we attract and onboard new clients.
In this role, your primary focus will be our website and the Digital acquisition channel — you’ll own the tasks around web pages, funnels, and digital client acquisition. Alongside this core focus, you’ll also support other acquisition channels at a lower priority, helping the team see the full picture of how clients reach Plata.
Challenges that await you:
Own the website and Digital acquisition channel as your primary product area, driving development from hypothesis to delivery
Analyze and improve the client journey across our web pages — landing pages, forms, and conversion funnels
Gather, analyze, and formalize business requirements, translating them into clear specifications and development tasks
Research user workflows, identify pain points, and propose improvements to web interfaces and business processes
Define product metrics and KPIs, analyze channel performance, run experiments, and validate hypotheses using data
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, and Data teams throughout the delivery process
Improve onboarding experiences, increase channel adoption, reduce churn, and optimize acquisition funnels
Support other acquisition channels as secondary priorities, contributing to a unified view of client acquisition
What makes you a great fit:
1+ year of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role within a product company
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and transform them into clear business requirements
Understanding of web funnels and conversion, with hands-on experience using web analytics tools (Google Analytics, GTM, or similar)
Experience writing specifications and supporting feature implementation throughout the delivery process
Basic technical background with hands-on experience writing SQL queries and working with analytical data
Ownership mindset with a proactive and structured approach to problem solving
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
B2 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
Your bonus skills:
Spanish at any level
Experience with A/B testing tools and methodology, and familiarity with digital acquisition metrics (CAC, CR, CPA, LTV)
Experience in adjacent roles such as Product Management, Project Management, or System Analysis
Experience working in high-growth product companies, fintech, marketplaces, or similar digital environments
Familiarity with Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration and documentation tools
Our ways of working:
Innovative Spirit: A commitment to creativity and groundbreaking solutions
Honest Feedback: valuing open, transparent communication
Supportive Team: a strong, collaborative community
Celebrating Achievements: recognizing our wins together
High-Tech Environment: a team full of smart and revolutionary people who date to challenge the status quo of incumbent finances
Our benefits:
Relocation support to Mexico with assistance for the employee and their family
Flexible work from our office
Healthcare Coverage
Education Budget: Language lessons, professional training and certifications
Wellness Budget: Mental health and fitness activity reimbursements
Vacation policy: 20 days of annual leave and paid sick leave
