Business Development Manager - Microsoft Azure (Hybrid role)

Position Summary:

  • Develops business strategies and opportunities with new and/or existing customers to expand existing relationships and developing new relationships
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and business plans
  • Build, position and sell new and advanced solutions, programs, services; may conduct market research and feasibility studies to analyze the viability of alternative business development opportunities
  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial, competitive, sales, marketing, and other information about potential business partners, new markets, products and services, or other business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, presales, and technical teams to drive cloud adoption and business growth

What you bring to the role:

  • 3 years and more of B2B technology, preferably with Microsoft Azure; Cloud Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud or Local Cloud.
  • Understanding of cloud business models, licensing, subscriptions, and cloud services
  • Experience working in IT distributor business is a plus
  • Knowledge of professional, effective telephone techniques, and sales skills
  • Experience working with channel partners, resellers, or distributors
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic selling principles and order management
  • Ability to dig deeper into an organization and take advantage of cross and upsell opportunities.
  • Successful track record of new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent over achievement against targets.
  • Good Command of English
