The role ensures operational excellence, financial accuracy, compliance, and performance management across AP, AR, FA, Treasury, and analytics functions. The role acts as a senior business partner to management and business functions ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, driving financial insight, cost efficiency, risk management, forecasting quality, and strategic decision support. As a senior business partner, the role contributes to ensure the compliance with Safran group policies, support finance shared services business strategy, performance improvement and appropriate financial support to business and management decisions for Safran in India. **But what else? (benefits, specificities, etc.)** Finance Operations Leadership - Lead & oversee end-to-end Transactional Finance operations: - AP, AR, FA, Treasury, reconciliations, cash management & monthly closing processes in accordance with applicable accounting standards and Safran Group policies - Ensure accurate, timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing. - Drive service performance through robust SLAs, KPIs, PKIs, dashboards, & governance routines. - Ensure finance operations comply with Safran Group Finance procedures, India statutory requirements, and strong internal controls. **Candidate skills & requirements** Business Controlling & Performance Management for Safran India Finance team - Ensure timely and accurate accounting of business transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and Safran Group policies. - Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to Safran Group/HQ Review and monitor monthly closing activities and ensure adherence to the Group financial calendar. - Ensure timely preparation and submission of consolidation reporting packages. Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS dashboards for management. - Prepare the annual budget for Safran India, work with business functions to prepare operating budgets and forecasts, prepare variance analysis, periodic reforecasting for reporting to HQ. - Provide insight on cost optimisation, productivity, & operational efficiency improvements. - Own India-wide management reporting pack, including KPIs, variance bridges, & performance commentary. - Ensure timely filing and completion of all applicable Indian statutory tax compliances. Act as finance coordinator for tax notices, assessments and enquiries. - Ensure a strong & continuous relation with corporate financial function in France - Influence strategic decisions through financial analysis and data-driven insights - Identify opportunities to improve business performance, working collaboratively with operations, HR, procurement, industrial teams, etc. Controls, Compliance & Audit Readiness - Ensure compliance with internal controls, processes, and Group Finance requirements - Lead audit preparation (internal, statutory, tax, compliance) and remediation plans. - Review and update policies, SOPs, and risk controls to maintain high governance standards - Strengthen control automation, segregation of duties, & reporting transparency. - Support Group/HQ evaluation of Safran India's internal controls Process Transformation & Continuous Improvement - Identify process improvement and automation opportunities, digital solutions, analytics, & process optimisation. Candidate skills & requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance/Commerce/Accounting (Must) Professional qualification: CA / CMA / ACCA / CPA or MBA (Finance) 12-15 years total experience, with significant exposure to: - Business Controlling, Transactional Finance / SSC Operations, Consolidation, Intercompany accounting, Budgeting & forecasting, Variance analysis & financial modelling, Internal control & compliances - Good Knowledge of Indian statutory requirements, group reportings and financial reporting tools - Experience managing teams - Strong communication, influencing, and partnering skills.
