Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Buyer

  • Work Authorization:
  • To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Your Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors

Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers

Using system-generated reports and data, determine what & how much to order

Follow-up with vendors on back-orders, delays, pricing and quality issues, and invoicing

Work with Warehouse and Production staff on inventory discrepancies or issues

  • You Must Have:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Purchasing and Inventory Management

Ability to follow-instructions and work independently

Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Problem-solving skills and abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • We Would Also Prefer:
  • 3+ Years of Purchasing experience

Experience in the printing industry

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Business

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $46,000 - $56,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
