CAD Design

• •Design and development of 3D models for mechanical parts made of sheet metal, plastic, or cast materials, in both creation and development phases.
• •Creation and updating of 2D drawings (assembly or sub-assembly parts), in compliance with ISO dimensioning standards and industry-specific rules (sheet metal, plastics, or casting).
• •Verification of assembly and clearance gaps using tolerance stack-up calculations.
• •Workload monitoring while adhering to quality processes and committed deadlines.
• •Convergence on robust technical solutions and continuous improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams during zone meetings and HH reviews.
• •Feasibility study through to the RO (Release Order) phase of mechanical components.
• •Official release and documentation in PLM tools such as 3DCOM.
• •Analysis of supplier feedback (2D and 3D) to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• •Writing progress reports for all assigned activities.
• •Ensuring knowledge capitalization for the entire scope of work.

Profile : 

• •Bachelor's Degree (licence) or Engineering Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering .
• •Proven experience in the design of interior and exterior equipment parts , as well as plastic components .
• •Good knowledge of the automotive industry and solid expertise in automotive parts and components .
• •Proficiency in CATIA (3D and 2D design tools), Siemens NX , and related design software.

Experience :

1 to 3 years of experience.

Skills :

• •Fluent English
• •Knowledge and skills with PLM/Catia/Enovia systems, alternatively TCAE/Unigraphics/Teamcenter.
• •Modeling of 3D / 2D components.
• •Knowledge of the design and manufacturing criteria of plastic components obtained through injection molding process: molding axis, draft angles, parting-line management, management of undercuts and/or trolleys.
• •Feasibility Studies.
• •Knowledge of the ASME dimensioning system.
• •In addition, they represent points of greater interest if the candidate has also gained experience:
• •In the automotive sector and especially in the design of vehicle interior components.
• •Welding of plastic components.
