What awaits you/ Job Profile

• •Develop and maintain complete CAD models, assemblies, surfaces and engineering drawings for interior Mock up & Prototype parts for passenger car.
• •Create and modify prototype and concept parts to support vehicle packaging studies, ergonomic evaluations, and early development activities.
• •Work closely with ergonomics, design, Prototype Manufacturing team to create accurate mock-ups
• •Support ergonomic CAS assessments, visibility and studies, prototype builds, and vehicle integration activities.

What should you bring along

• •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• •+2 years of experience in Automotive CAD Design, Vehicle Packaging, DMU & Prototype development.
• •Strong proficiency in CATIA V5 with hands-on experience in Part Design, Assembly Design, Surface Design, and Drafting workbenches.
• •Proven experience in developing concept & prototypes models.
• •Self-driven, Proactive, teamwork-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in a matrix environment.

Must have technical skill

CAD modelling expertise in CATIA for automotive interior and prototype components.

• •Experience in concept development, packaging studies, design feasibility analysis, and engineering optimization
• •Strong understanding of vehicle packaging principles, interior architecture, and occupant accommodation requirements.
• •Knowledge of rapid prototyping technologies and prototype manufacturing processes.

• •Experience coordinating with prototype teams and manufacturing teams for prototype part validation.
• •Knowledge of engineering data management, including digitization workflows, data exchange formats (e.g., JT, STEP), and version control processes within PLM systems.
• •Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• •Experience in DMU validation, clash analysis, and vehicle integration checks.

Good to have technical skills

• •Basic knowledge of occupant packaging and vehicle ergonomics.
• •Knowledge of automotive interior systems, trim components, cockpit architecture, and seating environment.
• •Familiarity with physical mock-up evaluation, prototype validation, and user assessment processes.
• •Exposure to Teamcenter, ENOVIA, or similar PLM environments.
