Leidos’ Defense Systems Quality Engineering Control is seeking a Calibrations Manager to join our team….The goal for the greater Huntsville area calibrations within Mission Assurance is to focus on ensuring measurement integrity, minimizing risk, and ensuring compliance. Key metrics include On-Time Calibration Percentage, Overdue Calibration Rate, Instrument Out-of-Tolerance (OOT) Rate, and Calibration Turnaround Time (TAT).

Proficient at multitasking and assigning iorities in a fast-moving environment

Ability to install grounding for ESD compliance and final verification testing

Ability to provide guidance for vendors to pinpoint resources with specialized capabilities to support unique tool requirements

• •Experience with performing internal audits and preparation for third-party audit certification
• •Certifications for but not limited to ESD Certified for testing & installation, Understanding Measurement Uncertainty, Dimensional Calibration Certification for Caliper & Micrometer, & Torque Wrenches
• •Lean Six Sigma Certification
• •Proficiency in navigation with Metrology Explorer
• •Proficient navigation with BC Mobile as an add-on to Metrology Explorer

Pay Range:

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
