Locum CAMHS CBT Therapist

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing (minimum 3 months)
  • Hours: Monday–Friday full time – part-time considered

Pulse are seeking an experienced CAMHS CBT Therapist to join an established multidisciplinary team on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-regarded private service delivering high-quality psychological support to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based CBT interventions to children and adolescents presenting with a range of mental health difficulties

Carry out comprehensive clinical assessments and develop formulation-driven treatment plans

Manage a caseload of CAMHS patients, ensuring safe, effective, and outcome-focused care

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapists

Maintain accurate clinical records in line with service and professional standards

Requirements

Qualified CBT Therapist

BABCP Accredited or Registered (essential)

Proven experience working within CAMHS / CYP services

Strong assessment, formulation, and risk management skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
