Canada Planning & Scheduling Manager

Job Description Summary

The Planning & Scheduling Manager is responsible for leading all project planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and schedule governance activities across projects within the Canada region. The role ensures projects are planned, executed, and completed in alignment with contractual milestones, business objectives, and organizational standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• •Lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and other planning tools.
• •Establish scheduling standards, processes, and best practices across the regional project portfolio.
• •Support project teams with baseline development, schedule updates, forecasting, and recovery planning.
• •Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and DCMA schedule health checks.
• •Monitor project performance against key milestones and provide early warning of schedule risks and delays.
• •Drive schedule optimization and develop mitigation and acceleration plans when required.
• •Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management teams to ensure schedule alignment.
• •Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and schedule presentations for leadership reviews.
• •Mentor and develop planners and schedulers across the region.
• •Support bid, proposal, and strategic planning activities by developing high-level project schedules and execution plans.
• •Ensure compliance with company project controls procedures, governance requirements, and customer contractual obligations

Required Qualifications

• •For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Project Management & Project Costing. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• •For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $132,200.00 and $220,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
