Job Description:

Sign On Bonus: $10,000 for eligible candidates

Work Schedule: Full time, Days, Four 9-hour shifts. Call Required

• •Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• •Scrubs, gowns, and gloves for surgical procedures.
• •Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures, displaying knowledge of procedure and patient positioning.
• •Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed.
• •Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants.
• •Passes instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedures.
• •Maintains the highest standard of sterile technique during procedures.
• •Prepares sterile dressings and cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization.
• •Handles surgical specimens with 100% accuracy.
• •Recognizes and responds immediately to emergency situations appropriately.

Education:

Associate [Preferred]

High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Technical/Vocational School [Required]

Work Experience:

1+ experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] OR

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) [Required] OR

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) [Required]

Pay Range:

$20.23 - $37.64
