You'll provide one-on-one support to Children and Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, helping them build confidence, gain independence, and achieve goals they never thought possible. We are currently hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals in Wake Forest and Wake County areas! Evening and weekend hours currently available in Wake Forest! Other part-time shifts also available throughout Wake County.
What You'll Do
- ✔ Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
- ✔ Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
- ✔ Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
- ✔ Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
- ✔ Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible

$16 per hour

What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities
Interest in teaching life skills to promote and encourage independence
Experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional or Teacher/ Teaching Assistant highly preferred but not required
