Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable experienced Carpenter to join our RUSH Facilities team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both rough and finish carpentry, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.

Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to build frameworks, structures, and fixtures.

Install doors, windows, cabinets, drywall, trim, and other finish carpentry components.

Operate power tools, hand tools, and carpentry machinery safely and efficiently.

Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or other structures as needed.

Ensure work is performed according to local building codes and company standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and project requirements.

Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in residential or commercial carpentry.

Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.

Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction methods.

Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, and measurements accurately.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Willing to learn other duties as needed.

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

OSHA certification is a plus.

Must be US Citizen and have ability to be badged for security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

Comfortable standing, bending, and working in various weather conditions for extended periods.

Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary.

Hours:

Mon-Friday 7am-3:30pm
