Case Selector

Description

As a member of the FlexCold team, a Case Selector, is responsible for accurately filling customer orders using a pick list or handheld WMS System, correctly preparing the order for shipment by shrink wrapping product securely on a pallet, and safely loading/staging merchandise to be shipped according to company standards. Responsible for operating single/double manual or electric pallet jacks as well as conducting inventory and cycle counts as needed. You must follow all regulatory and company safety standards, policies and procedures when performing these tasks.

This position is paid a base hourly rate plus incentive based on performance.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Accurately obtain merchandise from racks using a pick sheet or handheld WMS System.
• •Operate single/double manual or electric pallet jack equipment.
• •Accurately conduct inventory/cycle counts.
• •Manually wrap or use shrink wrap machine to secure product on pallets.
• •Manually load product on containers or pallets and stage to be shipped.
• •Possess basic math skills.
• •Keep work area clean.
• •Follow proper handling procedure of the goods.
• •Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

• •HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• •1+ years’ operating warehouse equipment.
• •Basic math skills.
• •Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• •Awareness of the safety and official procedures for handling goods and supplies.
• •Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• •Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius while wearing company provided PPE and freezer gear.
• •Ability to tolerate heights up to 50 ft and be able to access elevated product from inside safety cage.
• •Ability to effectively manage time and meet set targets and deadlines.
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• •Ability to work independently or with a team.
