Job Summary

Provide essential cash management support to the Operations team by managing funds throughout the settlement process. Ensure funds are received, payments and transfers are processed accurately and on time, and accounts are reconciled to support successful settlements. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and confirm receipt of funds to support settlement requirements.
  • Create and process payments accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Process telegraphic transfers, Osko transfers, real-time transfers and PEXA transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Monitor the team inbox, respond promptly to enquiries and prioritise requests according to urgency and settlement deadlines.
  • Identify and escalate issues to the appropriate team members to support timely resolution.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with ANZ and internal stakeholders to resolve funding and payment enquiries.
  • Follow established procedures and controls to ensure accuracy and accountability in all transactions.

Key Outcomes and Goals

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Timely identification and confirmation of funds received.
  • Accurate processing of payments and transfers within settlement deadlines.
  • Timely completion of account reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Prompt and effective handling of inbox enquiries.
  • Appropriate escalation of issues that may affect settlement or payment processing.
  • Effective collaboration with ANZ and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Consistent adherence to procedures and financial controls.

Essential

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Sound judgement in identifying issues and determining when to escalate them.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • This is a fully remote position, with required working hours of 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
