About the role

As a Category Marketing Lead, you'll develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies that drive category growth, strengthen customer engagement and support commercial outcomes across Australia and New Zealand.

Working closely with merchandising, insights, retail media digital, media and content teams, you'll bring category strategies to life through product launches, seasonal campaigns and retail media programs.

What's involved

Develop category marketing strategies and annual campaign plans.

Lead integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, content, retail media, in-store and traditional channels.

Use customer insights and performance data to inform decisions and optimise results.

Partner with merchandising and planning teams on go-to-market strategies, launches and promotional activity.

Manage agency partners, budgets and campaign delivery.

Coach and develop two direct reports while fostering a collaborative team environment.

About You

You're an experienced marketer who enjoys combining strategy with execution. You know how to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You bring a collaborative mindset, enjoy solving problems and use insights to create marketing that delivers meaningful results. You're also a supportive leader who takes pride in helping others grow and succeed.

What you'll need

Extensive marketing experience, ideally in retail, FMCG or consumer-focused businesses.

Experience leading integrated campaigns from planning through to execution.

Strong understanding of customer insights, campaign measurement and go-to-market planning.

Experience across digital, media, content and customer marketing channels.

Proven stakeholder management and project leadership skills.

Experience leading people and cross-functional teams.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or a related discipline are highly regarded.
