Caterer (Developmental) NF-02

This position is located at the Fort Bliss Centennial Banquet and Conference Center. Duties

• •Assists the Lead Caterer with large-scale event center catering and banquetoperations while progressively taking on additional responsibilities to perform thefull duties of a Caterer.
• •Communicates with prospective clients, provides package details, handles billing and payments, and assists in assessing needs and planning events.
• •Assists the caterer in coordinating with staff and protocol offices and supports event execution through light setup, decoration, and cleanup.
• •Utilizes catering software and Microsoft Suite products to draft Party work sheets, contracts and maintain Customer Relationship Management contacts.
• •Maintains a positive attitude, demonstrates a willingness to learn and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated work experience related directly to the catering or food & beverage industry. Possess prior customer service experience. Knowledge and experience of basic computer skills and software including but not limited to: Word Processing, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint. Ability to learn catering management software.
