RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Operate commercial trucks safely and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• •Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• •Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper securing of loads.
• •Transport goods to assigned destinations within scheduled timeframes.
• •Maintain electronic or paper logs of working hours, driving hours, and rest periods (DOT compliance).
• •Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, incidents, or route changes.
• •Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation (bills of lading, delivery receipts, etc.).
• •Follow planned routes while adjusting for traffic or weather conditions.
• •Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites.
• •Keep equipment clean and report any necessary repairs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• •Must be at least 21 years of age
• •Prior rail experience preferred but not required
• •Class A CDL
• •6 months of verifiable experience in the last year
• •Clean driving record with proven safe-driving history
• •No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
• •No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• •No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
