Job Summary:

• Primary Function
• Perform chemical laboratory testing, formulate test schemes for chemical projects, arrange test execution, and compile test reports. Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer chemical testing requirements with high quality, and support daily laboratory technical operations in compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• •Perform chemical testing and raw data analysis following standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct routine maintenance of lab equipment. Assist in the development of new test methods.
• •Arrange chemical testing projects according to customer and regulatory requirements, define sampling/testing points for samples, develop test plans, coordinate test scheduling and execution, and compile and edit chemical test reports.
• •Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Preferred Education & Experience

• •Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in Analytical Chemistry or other chemistry-related subjects.
• •3–5 years of working experience in a chemical analysis lab; familiar with analytical instruments such as GC-MS, ICP-OES, IC, and XRF; familiar with chemical test sample pretreatment processes.
• •Basic knowledge of North American and EU regulations regarding chemicals. Familiar with testing requirements such as CA Prop 65, RoHS, and REACH. Familiar with the ISO 17025 quality system.
• •Able to define chemical-test sampling locations for customer samples based on relevant regulatory requirements, organize test scheduling and execution, and prepare chemical test reports.
• •Prior work experience in third-party laboratories is preferred.
• •Good command of English in reading, speaking, and writing.
• •Mature, independent, and a team player.
