Chemist (contract role)

• Includes routine product testing and product qualification in support of chemical, oil, or gas production/manufacturing for product release. Develops and implements inspection programs and tests to ensure compliance and quality control for product certification.
• •This role is on a third-party contract basis.
• •Responsible to perform routine testing for a lubricant testing lab for finished lubricants, raw materials, additives, base oils and used oils samples.
• •Ensure that the Products are consistent in quality and are accurately blended as per Lubricant Manufacturing Specifications.
• •Responsible for performing the calibration of all laboratory equipment being used in the analysis of lubricants, used oils and fuels.
• •Support the functions of Testing Laboratory to ensure that testing equipment and testing activities are in conformance with standards and ISO 9001-2015 Quality Assurance System, a
• •and that the laboratory services are maintained up to the level of end users.
• •Implement the Product Integrity Policy
• •Handle SAP QM activities.
• •Coordinate with technical team and sales staff.
• •Responsible to generate CoAs and other reports.
• •Issues blend adjustments or corrections as and when required.
• •Monitors compliance of laboratory tests with external requirements such as ASTM round robin program.
• •Responsible to handle ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 documentation.
• •Responsible for performing the calibration of laboratory equipment.
