About the Position: This position is located at US ARMY 1ST SPECIAL FORCES COMMAND USASOC in Fort Bragg NC. This is a TERM NTE 2 Years position. This position cannot be made permanent. Only resumes up to a total of two pages will be accepted.

Duties

• •Develops, plans, coordinates, and implements policy in Chief Technology Officer specific areas.
• •Develops cyberspace plans, strategy, and policy to support and align with organizational missions and initiatives.
• •Serves as a top executive and senior command expert.
• •Leads efforts to provide the most up-to-date and proven solutions to optimize technology delivery systems.
• •Evaluates emerging technologies and prototype programs and guides their employment to satisfy valid mission requirements.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience: 1) Developing cyberspace plans, strategy, and policy to support and align with organizational missions and initiatives. 2) Overseeing the implementation of short and long-range plans for acquisition of technology., hardware, software, and firmware. 3) Maintaining a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and comprehensive knowledge of military operations, employment of combat systems, combat tactics, strategic operations, and leadership. 4) Providing professional and technical engineering expertise on a full range of engineering technology functional areas that occur in Integrated Product Teams and Combat Development efforts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
