Child Caregiver – Lampasas, TX

A family in Lampasas, TX 76550 is seeking a regular, long-term caregiver to help care for their 12 year old son. The family is looking for a dependable and nurturing individual to assist with daily care and support.

Schedule:

Minimum Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (25 hours) up to 50 hours per week.

Start Date: ASAP

Family Specifications:

Smoke-free home

2 dogs in the home

Responsibilities:

Help as a tutor and be mentally engaging

Willing to do feeding both orally and through G-tube

Help him with at-home therapy homework, such as practicing use of talking device.

Transport child to and from appointments as needed in a family vehicle (driving would be very rare, if at all)

Provide support to nurse as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience a plus

Current CPR and First Aid certifications required. Family is willing to cover the cost of certification prior to employment

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation:

$15-$20 per hour (commensurate with experience)
