About the Role

Service Stream’s Maintenance Division is currently seeking a Civil Maintenance Worker to join our growing team.

Civil Maintenance Worker for a full-time nightshift position, starting at 4:30pm to 12:30am, Monday to Friday

• Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
• Location: Hope Valley, South Australia
• Reporting Line: Supervisor

Civil Maintenance Workers will safety deliver the physical field aspects of planned and reactive maintenance, and minor projects under the direction of Field Supervisors in accordance with quality, time, cost and customer service requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• •Undertake reactive and emergency maintenance and associated tasks, ensuring the appropriate use of works management systems and procedures to facilitate optimum efficiency and effectiveness of work delivery
• •Undertake planned/preventative maintenance and minor works, ensuring the appropriate use of works management systems and procedures to facilitate optimum efficiency and effectiveness of work delivery Health, Safety & Environment
• •Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations related to health and safety at all times
• •Understand and comply with Service Stream's safety/environmental policies and procedures, and promote health, safety and environmental initiatives in the field.
• •Ensure that HSE risks related to operation and maintenance are considered at all times
• •Actively participate in all site OH&S activities and initiatives

About you

This opportunity will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, and a knack for effective stakeholder engagement

• •Excavator Licence and experience required
• •HR truck license desired but not required
• •Front End Loader ticket desired but not required
• •Must hold a white Card
• •Skilled in use of hand power tools / small machinery.
• •Enjoy working outdoors, rain, hail, or shine!
• •Full-time night shift position, starting at 4:30pm to 12:30am, Monday to Friday
• •Night shift on-call and rostered Sunday shift 1 in 6 weeks.
• •Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
• •Complete background checks; police clearance, medical and references.
