Te Mahi | About the Role

As our Client Services Manager, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional care and support services that make a real difference in people's lives. This dynamic leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives on driving excellence, leading positive change, and empowering high-performing teams. You will inspire and coach a high-performing team to deliver services ranging from everyday home support through to complex, long-term and nursing care. Your strong operational focus, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement will help shape outstanding outcomes for both clients and staff.

This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.00pm), there will be some flexibility required.

Location: Porirua, Wellington.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management: Build strong, positive relationships with service users and their families, whānau, support workers, co-workers and other health professionals. Work collaboratively to ensure high-quality, person-centered support, while regularly travelling throughout the community to visit service users and maintain strong connections with those you support.

Recruitment & Retention: Involvement in the recruitment and retention process for support workers, including performance feedback, education, and training.

Health and Safety: Conduct Health and Safety assessments in the homes of service users to ensure a safe environment for both service users and support workers.

Roster Management: Coordinate and manage rosters for support workers, ensuring alignment with service user schedules

We're looking for someone who brings:

Proven experience in service management, operations, or healthcare coordination.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

Empathy, emotional intelligence, and the ability to listen and act with compassion.

Resilience, flexibility, and an appetite for problem-solving.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Must have the right to work legally and permanently in New Zealand.

A full driver’s licence, your own vehicle, and a clear Police Check.
