Clinical Pharmacist IP- Per Diem - Evening - Rotating

Hourly Pay Range:

$59.50 - $92.23 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• •Position: Clinical IP Pharmacist
• •Location: Chicago, IL Swedish Hospital
• •Per Diem
• •Hours: One evening shift per week PM shift start 1400 or 1500 and every other weekend both days: weekends start 0700, 0800, 1400, 1500: holiday rotation
• •Required Travel: n/a

What you will need:

• •License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
• •Education: BLS or PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred
• •Certification: N/A
• •Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
• •Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment

What you will do:

• •Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
• •Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
• •Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
