Cloud & DevOps Engineer - Gurgaon

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled Cloud + DevOps Engineer responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, server administration, DevOps automation, security, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and production application support across Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux environments, cloud services, networking, CI/CD, containers, databases, security, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure Management

✔ Manage Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, and GCP environments.

✔ Provision, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud resources.

✔ Manage VMs, VCN/VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers, storage, DNS, IAM, and networking.

✔ Monitor infrastructure health, resource utilization, availability, and performance.

✔ Review monthly cloud billing and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

✔ Implement appropriate resource sizing and capacity planning.

✔ Manage cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and environment expansion.

DevOps & Automation

✔ Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.

✔ Manage source-code repositories such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.

✔ Automate infrastructure and application deployment processes.

✔ Work with Docker and containerized applications.

✔ Support container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, where applicable.

✔ Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

✔ Automate repetitive operational activities using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.

✔ Implement proper development, UAT, staging, and production deployment processes.

✔ Maintain deployment documentation and rollback procedures.

Skills & Competencies Required Technical Skills

Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

DevOps: Git/GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash/Shell scripting

Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu

Web & Application: IIS, Apache, Nginx, PHP, Docker, Load Balancer, SSL/TLS

Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, DBGate, Backup & Restore, Database Monitoring

Networking & Security: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewall, WAF, NSG/Security Groups, IAM/RBAC, SSL Certificates, SSH/RDP, SFTP

Monitoring & Operations: Infrastructure monitoring, log monitoring, performance monitoring, incident management, RCA, Backup & DR, cloud cost optimization

Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

● 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Cloud, DevOps, System Administration, or Infrastructure.

● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

● Experience managing production environments.

● Good understanding of cloud security and networking.

● Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

● Good documentation and communication skills.
