Torch Technologies is seeking an experienced CNC Mill-Turn Machinist/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who enjoys challenging prototype and low-volume work rather than repetitive production.

This position works with engineering drawings and CAD models to program, set up, prove out, and machine complex precision parts using modern CNC equipment.

As a CNC Mill-Turn Machinist/Programmer , your duties will include the following but are not limited to:

• •Program, set up, and operate DMG Mori Mill-Turn machining centers
• •Program with Mastercam
• •Develop machining strategies, tooling, workholding, feeds, and speeds
• •Machine complex prototype and low-volume parts
• •Troubleshoot programs, setups, tooling, and machining processes
• •Work independently from drawing/model through finished part

Requirements

• •U.S. Citizenship
• •Associate Degree, or 2 years of formal technical training or equivalent experience.
• •5+ years CAM programming experience
• •Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• •Ability to read drawings, GD&T, and CAD models
• •Ability to independently program, set up, and prove out CNC equipment
• •Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
• •DMG Mori Mill-Turn experience strongly preferred
• •Haas and Mazak experience is a plus
• •AS9100 experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Workplace safety is a priority at Torch. Candidates must receive and present an OSHA 10-Hour Training Course for General Industry certification (either a card from the Department of Labor or certificate of completion from an authorized trainer) within the first 90 days of employment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed training prior to employment. Training may be completed online. Schedule: Fulltime, 1st Shift — Four 10-hour days, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
