Responsibilities

• •The Machinist will set up and operate production machine equipment to include multi-axis CNC/NC machines
• •Machine all types of metals
• •Generate and check part dimensions during various machining stages with complex measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, special purpose gauges, and scales
• •Achieve all required tolerances and finishes that will produce quality parts in a timely manner and for meeting standards as set forth by Manufacturing Engineering and Quality
• •Continuous visual concentration with or without reasonable accommodation may be necessary to develop and maintain tolerance
• •Ensure all characteristics generated at designated operation are conforming through use of applicable inspection techniques
• •Perform setup and operation of equipment to drawings, method sheets, etc., but may be required to supplement this information with own job knowledge on occasion

• •May be required on a temporary basis, to train operators to use certain equipment which the individual is qualified to
• •Responsible for keeping facilities, material and work area orderly exercising care in their use, maintaining good housekeeping practices
• •Must adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements and all quality
• •Must actively participate in a team based environment which includes, but not limited to the following: Active participation in daily team meetings and activities, cooperating and relating well with others, practicing direct professional communication with team members, and being open to new ideas from team members and considers opinions different from their own
• •Use all tools, jigs, fixtures, and gages necessary to perform operations
• •Utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures

Required Qualifications

Technical secondary schools or above degree, majored in machinery/electric. Proven experience in manufacturing industry. Acquired knowledge of mechanical or electrical professional.

Ability to understand the engineering drawings and documents.

Acquired knowledge of cutting tools and quality. Ability to use standard measuring tools.

Strong communication skills with NC programmers, Process engineers, Tooling engineer. Be familiar with CNC Machining Center/Heavy Machine first.

Proven experience as tool administrator in mechanical machining

Be familiar with tool type, assembly and metal cutting

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Zoller tool-measuring device. Acquired knowledge of cutting tool usage, administration, and maintenance

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Tool Data Management system.

Acquired qualification for operating crane and forklift.
