CNC Programmer

STAR is a dynamic and growing organization dedicated to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to support efficient production of high-quality parts. This role works closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure products meet specifications and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

Optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and machining operations.

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and specifications.

Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining processes.

Perform program prove-outs and make adjustments to improve efficiency and quality.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.

Maintain accurate program documentation and revision control.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and increase productivity.

Qualifications

Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in machining or manufacturing technology.

2+ years of CNC programming experience preferred.

Proficiency with CAD/CAM software

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing software systems.
