Co-op Program 2026 2H - AI Model Validation

This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in emerging artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and AI governance within a dynamic and innovative environment. As an AI Governance Intern, you will support the AI Model Validation & Governance (AIMVG) team, a global function responsible for overseeing AI/ML solutions and model risk management across the enterprise. Working alongside experienced professionals across multiple regions in Asia, you will gain practical exposure to AI governance frameworks, data-driven decision-making, and industry best practices while building skills that will accelerate your career in AI and data science.

Position Responsibilities

Support model governance activities for Asia, including AI/ML models reviews, validation tracking, and risk assessment processes.

Conduct research on AI-related topics in Asia, including regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and governance technologies.

Assist in developing management and automation solutions to improve governance processes and operational efficiency.

Support maintenance of organized project documentations, knowledge repositories, and governance records.

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across business, AI teams and risk functions globally.

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, Quantitative Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.

Solid analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and data analytics techniques.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, or related technologies.

Familiarity with AI governance, model risk management, or Responsible AI concepts.

Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate, Copilot Studio, or similar technologies.

Interest in financial services, governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
