Join ALS Coal – Bowen Basin as a Permanent Full-time Quality Coal Tester!

We are currently seeking Coal Quality Testers to join our well-established Laboratory Testing team in the Bowen Basin on a permanent basis . This role operates on a 7-days on / 7-days off roster and is Drive-in Drive-out (DIDO) from Mackay .

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• •Collecting production and train samples across the site.
• •Conducting a variety of coal testing methods.
• •Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• •Validating results and ensuring they meet accuracy and repeatability standards.
• •Adhering strictly to Quality Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• •Prioritising safety and efficient turnaround of test results.
• •Maintaining a clean, well-organised lab and work area.

What We’re Looking For:

• •A strong commitment to safety , quality , and teamwork .
• •High attention to detail and strong organisational skills .
• •Excellent communication and reliability.
• •Previous coal testing or laboratory experience (highly regarded).
• •A valid Driver’s Licence.
• •Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a 7/7 roster.
• •Ability to pass medical
