Collections / Payment Processing Representative

Description

CarShield is seeking a Collections Representative to join its growing Payment Processing and Collections team. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls with existing customers, assist with past-due accounts, and help customers bring their accounts current.

In this role, you will:

• •Handle inbound and outbound calls with existing customers regarding past-due accounts.
• •Collect payments and assist customers with bringing their accounts current.
• •Maintain a positive, customer-first approach while communicating clearly and professionally.
• •Accurately document customer interactions and payment activity in applicable systems.
• •Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

• •$17 per hour plus performance bonus opportunities; average hourly earnings are approximately $21-$25.

Requirements

• •Ability to work on-site at CarShield's headquarters in St. Peters, Missouri.
• •At least two years of experience in a call center environment; collections experience preferred.
• •Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence.
• •Excellent customer service skills.
• •Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• •Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• •Ability to receive and apply coaching and constructive feedback.
• •Basic computer and typing skills.
• •Ability to obtain the license required by the State of Missouri; CarShield supports the application process and fee.
