OVERVIEW:

Claims Audit and Investigation Services conducts audits of health care providers and plan members to assure compliance with agreements, group contracts, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collections, Reporting, & Investigation Officer to join our team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As the Collections, Reporting, & Investigation Officer, you will play a key role in supporting Claims Audit and Investigation Services through recovery collection activities, fraud tip management, reporting and administrative duties as required. You will communicate with members, providers, and internal stakeholders regarding outstanding balances and repayment arrangements, maintain accurate recovery and reporting records, assess and coordinate fraud tips, and prepare reports that support business decisions and departmental objectives. Working both independently and collaboratively, you will ensure information is accurate, organized, and actionable while supporting investigations, audits, recovery efforts, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

• •Two-year diploma in accounting finance or business
• •Certifications/designations in the following areas are beneficial, but not required: information management, data management, data analysis, and fraud examination (CFE), accounting (CPA) or auditing (CIA)
• •Experience with reporting and working with data.
• •Experience in collections, accounting, or auditing/investigation is an asset.
• •Strong proficiency in reporting.
• •Excellent communication and written skills.
• •Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• •Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• •Collaborate with the team and work both independently and within a team environment.
• •Prioritize tasks effectively and execute a high level of individual decision-making.
