Collision Technician

Description

A successful Collision/Body Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, background in body/paint repair and well-versed in all paint and body repair equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• •Provide and document complete diagnostics for repairing recreational vehicle equipment and structures. Determine best product for repair.
• •Customize and repair RV in accordance with work orders. Execute work orders.
• •Perform body and paint repair
• •Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• •Keep supervisor appraised of work progress
• •Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee
• •Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
• •Follows Safety and Hazardous Waste procedures as outlined
• •Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned and performs duties at company established performance levels.

Requirements

What You’ll Need to Have for the Role:

• •Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience
• •Paint experienced
• •Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
• •Valid driver's license preferred
• •May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
• •Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
• •Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
• •Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
