Programme Duration : 2 to 2.5 years

Salary: £29,000

What this job involves:

Our graduate programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification, all within the dynamic environment of JLL's Leeds office.

You will join us on a 2-to-2.5-year trainee programme, working toward Commercial Chartered Surveyor status by undertaking the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Our Leeds office offers a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, ideal for your professional development.

Anyone with a degree can join this programme, irrespective of discipline, as we are focused on training you to becoming a qualified and well-rounded professional . If you do not have an RICS accredited Real Estate degree, you will complete a fully funded online m aster's degree (MSc) in Real Estate with the University of the Built Environment as part of the graduate programme. You will be fully supported by both JLL and the University throughout your academic journey.

You will rotate around the business with a focus on commercial properties such as office spaces , industrial units and retail stores . Possible rotations could include Commercial Valuation, Lease Advisory, Office Agency, Industrial Agency, Capital Markets, Rating, Property & Asset Management , Development Consultancy and Residential Valuation .

What your day-to-day will look like:

You’ll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions. The work will vary depending on the team you are in but below are some of what you’ll experience :

You’ll research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and property legislation that may impact our work

You’ll learn how to use various property systems/databases so we can collect information that will help us determining the best solution for clients

You’ll build relationships across our business and clients to ensure we deliver a great service

You’ll work with your team to draft and deliver work that may involve a variety of work, such as service charge budgets, presentations to clients, and valuation reports.

You’ll visit properties to carry out inspections or conduct client viewings.

You’ll take part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge, and professional development to support your growth

Required Skills and Experience:

Degree – predicted or achieved minimum 2:2 in any discipline

Right to work in the UK :

You will need to have permanent right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visas, including Graduate Visas beyond the programme
