Job Summary



 To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Commodity Analyst, Indirect Procurement located in Guadalajara, Campus

Reporting to the Commodity Manager Indirect, Commodity Analyst, Indirect Procurement role involves … ensuring Indirect Procurement activities contribute to Flex´s bottom line growth by concentrating expertise to attain and sustain world-class performance and value across our organization. Providing Leadership and direction while adopting new technology tools, techniques, and practices.

What a typical day looks like:

• •Review commercial terms before supplier onboarding, contract approval, or purchase order placement.
• •Ensure that contracts contain appropriate scope, pricing, performance expectations, responsibilities, and escalation mechanisms.
• •Coordinate with Legal, Finance, EHS, IT Security, Privacy, Trade, Risk Management, and other control functions when required.
• •Develop and execute strategies that enable the world-class Procurement CoE functionI
• •Implementation of projects that drive continuous improvement of our procurement processes & tools, incorporating best practices identified through external benchmarking
• •Support KPI target setting by providing internal and external benchmarkDevelop a comprehensive set of Procurement operational reports to optimize center and site business decision making regarding spend management, savings delivery and cash flow
• •Execution of a consistent global procurement performance model that accurately defines and measures procurement effectiveness, savings, synergies, and other performance and compliance results

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

BA/BS or equivalent work experience

• •BA/BS or equivalent work experience
• •Experience in contributing multiple large-scale global projects/programs
• •Experience relevant procurement, strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply-chain experience.
• •Demonstrated experience managing indirect goods and service categories
• •Experience leading complex sourcing events and commercial negotiations.

• •Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and control functions.
• •Experience in working with virtual teams cross-border
• •English advance (spoken and written)
• •Advanced Excel/Advanced Power Point.
