Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• •Load, transport, unload, and furnish crew with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies
• •Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary
• •Grade checking
• •Help place and rake concrete
• •Set and remove pavement, barrier, curb, and sidewalk forms
• •Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman
• •Safely handle electric and gas-powered hand tools, such as circular saws, drills, and cut-off saws.
• •Use tape measure, folding rule, and 4ft level.

Qualifications:

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Have reliable personal transportation
• •Be willing to work on projects up to 3.5 hours from home
• •For projects 1.5 hours +, compensation for travel expenses are available

Kokosing is a drug-free workplace

Experience:

• •1+ year(s) of experience in associated Heavy Highway Laborer work preferred, but not required
• •Experience in the concrete industry is a strong plus
• •Current STP, OSHA 10 Hour, or OSHA 30 Hour
• •Kokosing will facilitate STP and OHSA training for those lacking the certifications
