KLS Earthworks & Environmental is looking for hardworking and reliable Construction Laborers to join our field crews in Calgary and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do

Assist operators, supervisors, and other crew members with daily site activities.

Dig ditches and trenches and assist with backfilling, compacting, and leveling earth.

Use hand tools including shovels, rakes, picks, and other construction tools.

Assist with site preparation, grading, cleanup, and general labour duties.

Work safely around heavy equipment, trucks, excavations, and active construction areas.

Assist with spotting equipment and traffic control/flagging when required.

Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and supplies.

Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Follow site-specific safety procedures and direction from supervisors.

Assist with other duties as required to support the crew and project.

Qualifications

Previous construction or earthworks experience is an asset.

Physically capable of performing demanding work, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.

Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and active construction operations.

Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.

First Aid and H2S certifications are considered assets.

Flagging/traffic control experience is an asset.

Willingness to work extended hours and overtime during the busy construction season.

Must successfully complete required pre-employment testing.
