Position Summary

The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction and installation activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements, engineering specifications, and quality standards.

The role requires leadership of multidisciplinary teams including subcontractors, engineers, logistics personnel, and project stakeholders. The Construction Manager ensures compliance with applicable safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures while maintaining effective communication with clients, project managers, and site personnel.

This position requires a high level of technical competence, leadership ability, and organizational skill to successfully deliver complex construction and installation projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution
• •Plan and manage construction activities from project mobilization through completion.
• •Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
• •Coordinate sequencing of installation activities to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• •Ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved according to approved schedules.
• •Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
• •Monitor project progress and adjust resources as required.

• Site Leadership and Team Management
• •Lead and supervise site supervisors, subcontractors, and installation teams.
• •Assign work activities and ensure proper manpower allocation.
• •Provide direction and technical guidance to ensure proper installation procedures.
• •Maintain accountability for team performance and productivity.
• •Foster a professional and collaborative work environment.

• Safety Management and Compliance
• •Ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety regulations.
• •Enforce use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
• •Conduct regular site safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• •Identify hazards and implement corrective actions immediately.
• •Maintain safety documentation and incident reports.

• Quality Assurance and Technical Oversight
• •Ensure installation activities meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
• •Inspect completed work to verify compliance with design requirements.
• •Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions.
• •Ensure adherence to installation sequences and technical procedures.
• •Coordinate with engineering teams regarding technical clarifications.

• Schedule and Progress Control
• •Monitor daily and weekly progress against project schedule.
• •Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
• •Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain production targets.
• •Track project milestones and provide status updates to management.

• Coordination and Communication
• •Serve as primary on-site point of contact for project stakeholders.
• •Coordinate activities with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
• •Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress reports.
• •Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders.
• •Document project updates, risks, and key decisions.

• Material and Logistics Coordination
• •Coordinate delivery, storage, and allocation of materials.
• •Ensure materials are available to support installation activities.
• •Monitor inventory and identify shortages or damaged materials.
• •Maintain organized laydown areas to support efficient workflow.

• Documentation and Reporting
• •Maintain project records including daily reports, progress logs, and issue tracking.
• •Prepare reports related to progress, manpower, safety, and quality.
• •Document delays, risks, and corrective actions.
• •Ensure proper record keeping for contractual and compliance purposes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Experience
• •Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or related field.
• •Experience managing subcontractors and field installation activities.
• •Experience coordinating multiple trades on active construction sites.
• •Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Travel:

Must be able to travel up to 80-90% (domestic or international)

This is a full-time, exempt position, eligible to receive an hourly rate and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. The salary range listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate-dependent.

Salary Range: $135,300-$150,000
